About the composers
TERRY SWEET
Nashville based Emmy-nominated composer, arranger, singer, pianist Terry Sweet has composed hundreds of radio and TV jingles such as Kellogg¹s Raisin Bran, Kraft, John Deere, Allstate Insurance, Milwaukee Brewers, winning many Addy Awards, Silver Microphones and Telly Awards.
Following the success of his hit 2023 album, “Listen to the Bars,” Terry has been working in producing, song writing and film scoring.
LINDA COLLINS
Linda Collins performed in orchestras in the United States and Canada for many years, playing with such artists as YoYo Ma, Emmanuel Ax, Leonard Slatkin; and Willie Nelson, Sheryl Crow and Jars of Clay. Focusing now on piano composition and filmmaking, music and drama have jointly found a home in Linda's most recent creative undertakings.

Artist Statement
​
Writing and recording REFUGE is our first musical collaboration. After reading Debra Markowitz's script, the music was an organic creation, first written by Linda as a piano solo, played by Linda's character Celine in the film; and that led to Terry's creation of the lyrics and orchestration for REFUGE- the theme song and opening music for SILENT HARMONY. The music speaks to the intense longing and pain of the loss of a previous life that may never be recovered, as a universal theme, and as experienced by Celine in SILENT HARMONY.
